Welcome to My Blog
Belief in Jesus is not merely a mental attitude—it is reflected in our actions. True faith manifests through obedience to God’s Word.
In the book of John, Jesus attended a wedding in Cana, where His mother, Mary, noticed the wine had run out. She informed Jesus and then instructed the servants:
“Whatever He tells you to do, do it.” (John 2:5)
This verse is crucial for all who desire to follow Christ. Faith requires more than acknowledgment—it calls for action. As we read the Bible and obey God’s instructions, the Holy Spirit empowers us.
Mary emphasized the importance of obedience. She understood that doing what Jesus commanded would lead to miracles. As servants of God, we must act on His Word to experience divine blessings.
“As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should! I will obey your decrees. Please don’t give up on me!” (Psalm 119:7-8)
God reveals His path step by step. Just as the Israelites conquered their promised land gradually, we receive our blessings in due time. This process tests our faith, patience, and reliance on God’s perfect timing.
“The LORD your God will drive those nations out ahead of you little by little. You will not clear them away all at once, otherwise, the wild animals would multiply too quickly for you.” (Deuteronomy 7:22)
Jesus’ first miracle involved water. He instructed the servants to fill six water pots. Once they obeyed, He turned the water into wine.
“When the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine… he said… ‘Every man serves the good wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves the poorer wine, but you have kept the good wine until now.’” (John 2:9-10)
This miracle demonstrates that obedience leads to transformation. God cares about our needs, both big and small, and our faith in His direction opens doors to the miraculous.
Believing in Jesus means more than acknowledging His existence—it requires trust and obedience.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God… In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.” (John 1:1-2,4)
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
Faith, like turning on a faucet to get water, requires action. We must apply God’s Word to our lives to experience its power.
God’s Word renews our minds, shifting our thinking from the natural to the supernatural.
“Christ loved the church and gave himself for it, that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.” (Ephesians 5:25-26)
Just as our bodies are composed of 70% water, Scripture washes over us, transforming our perspective and aligning our thoughts with God’s limitless potential.
Servants obey, but friends share a deeper connection with God. Those who consistently act on His Word transition from mere servanthood to a close friendship with Him.
“You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” (John 15:14-16)
Friends of God serve with joy. They live a lifestyle of obedience, developing a bond of loyalty and purpose with Him. While God chooses all of us, we must willingly accept the call to serve. And friends of Jesus serve joyfully- it’s part of their life.
The New Testament is Jesus’ last will and testament. If Jesus did something for someone in Scripture, we can ask for the same blessings today. By praying based on Scripture, we strengthen our faith and position ourselves to receive answered prayers.
When we build our families and lives on the foundation of God’s Word, our prayers become powerful. In times of tension, financial struggles, or sickness, we can trust God to intervene.
Are you ready to step into the fullness of God’s promises for you? It all begins with obedience. “Do everything He tells you to do.”
