MARRIAGE
I believe the purpose of life is to know and glorify God through a genuine relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches us to love what God loves and hate what He hates.
“Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good” (Romans 12:9b).
Those who follow Christ have different priorities than the secular crowd. We are taught to love God and others, including our enemies (Matthew 22:36-39) and leave our cares in the hands of God (Matthew 6:25-27). Instead of chasing after wealth, the Lord says we are to seek after Him and His priorities, then everything else will be given to us as well (Matthew 6:33).
“...I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder;
the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish” (Isaiah 29:14).
I BELIEVE
I believe the Bible in its entirety, to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Tim 3:16).
BIBLE
I believe in the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - Creator of all things. “And now the Sovereign Lord [Father] has sent me [Jesus] endowed with his Spirit" (Isaiah 48:16).
GOD
I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, crucified, died, was buried, resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus is fully God and fully man. Our belief in Him and trust in His saving power is our access to living in eternity when we die but also enjoying the Kingdom benefits on earth.
"I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living" (Psalm 27:13).
jesus
The Holy Spirit is part of the Triune God. All who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior have been indwelt with the Holy Spirit who empowers people to live righteously. “You gave Your good Spirit to instruct them…” (Nehemiah 9:20).
HOLY SPIRIT
We are saved by faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. I believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved and the eternal punishment of those who deny Jesus Christ. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
salvation
God’s Kingdom isn’t a place we can see with our eyes here on earth yet, but we don’t need to die before we experience it. It’s a spiritual realm where God’s power is manifested. The Bible teaches us that “Unless someone is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God” (John 3:3). This means those who surrender their life to Christ and trust His guidance can in fact, see it (Ephesians 1:18-19).
Kingdom of heaven
I believe water baptism is a public display of death to our old life and our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our personal Savior who died so that we can spend eternity in heaven.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit comes after a person surrenders their life to Christ and chooses to be obedient to His teachings (which is impossible without the help of the Holy Spirit). Unlike our physical birth through our mothers, we have a choice to be born spiritually and enjoy the benefits and power of being a child of God. “Jesus replied, 'Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them'” (John 14:23).

The Bible states that marriage is between one man and one woman. “At the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’” (Matthew 19:4-5).
