Charlie Kirk’s death showcased how powerful our enemy Satan is. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph 6:12 KJV)
Humans cannot stand against Satan- we need the full armor of God.
Our weapon of warfare is Scripture. When someone says something counter to what the Lord Jesus Christ teaches, our ONLY response should be a verse of Scripture. That’s it. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Rom 10:17) Once a non believer is introduced to Jesus- who He Is, and what He won for us at the cross, that seed will grow.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 58:8-9)
It’s an evil world but “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the World” (1 John 4:4) If you are a follower of Christ, memorize Scripture in order to lovingly share it with those “seeking.” Eventually, when they hear enough of the Word, it will resonate in their heart and they too will take Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Prayer, love and Scripture spoken out of the mouth of an obedient follower of Christ is powerful!
“to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate,
and always to be gentle toward everyone.”
(Titus 3:2)
